Berlino – Dal 15 al 18 giugno, ancora in scena presso il Halle Tanzbühne Berlin die einen, die anderen (gli uni, gli altri), la nuova produzione della cie. toula limnaios in collaborazione con la cia. gira dança.
Ispirato alle conferenze radio di Michel Foucault L’utopie du corps del 1966, il pezzo – montato tra Natal (in Brasile) e Berlino -, è una chiara riflessione sul corpo. Un corpo che si lancia nello spazio incurante della gravità, un corpo che viene esposto con naturalezza a seno scoperto ma ogni volta ricoperto da altre mani, un corpo che viene illuminato da una luce artificiale per evidenziarne ogni sua contrazione muscolare, un corpo che viene esposto in pose plastiche e smaglianti per essere ritratto in delle istantanee, un corpo che comunica con altri corpi, che si sostengono o che lottano tra loro. Un corpo che torna sempre al punto di partenza, ogni volta diverso, ogni volta cambiato.
Durante la prima parte dello spettacolo, sette danzatori della cie. toula limnaios, con la consueta energia ed espressività, hanno dato vita a un’esibizione intensa e vibrante.
Bravissimo, come sempre Leonardo D’Aquino a guidare il gruppo e a dar inizio allo spettacolo. Non appena inizia a muoversi, si riconosce immediatamente il suo movimento che catalizza l’attenzione degli spettatori. Forti e convincenti le interpretazioni delle tre donne: Katja Scholz che porta sempre in scena personaggi carismatici, Karolina Wyrwal, dotata di presenza scenica fuori dal comune e Priscilla Fiuza che resta comunicativa e precisa. Magnetica la danza di Daeho Lee che si muove con fluidità e carattere. Importante il contributo di Hironori Sugata e Daniel Afonso.
Dirompente la seconda parte, quando altri sette danzatori, questa volta della cia. gira dança, ripropongono lo stesso copione con altrettanta passione ed energia.
Le immagini proiettate sullo schermo, che funge da unica quinta sul fondale, mostrano tutti i danzatori insieme, creando un collegamento tra ciò che accade in scena e ciò a cui si è appena assistito.
Formidabili le prestazioni di tutti i componenti la compagnia brasiliana i cui membri (quattro su sette) sono portatori di disabilità.
Ognuno di loro porta sul palco una straordinaria interpretazione degli stessi personaggi già visti nella prima parte dello show.
Gli sguardi, i movimenti, le storie di ognuno di loro creano un’atmosfera carica di pathos ed emozioni. Non le loro disabilità, ma la loro incredibile bravura è ciò che commuove gli spettatori i quali applaudono richiamando sul palco almeno tre volte tutti i protagonisti di questa notte indimenticabile di danza.
Ancora una volta la sensibilità della coreografa greca lascia il segno. Toula Limnaios, sfuggendo da facili stereotipi e cliché, da vita a uno spettacolo emotivamente toccante e coinvolgente.
From June 15th to June 18th, at the Halle Tanzbühne Berlin die einen, die anderen (the ones, the others) – the new production by the cie. toula limnaios in collaboration with cia. gira dança – is on.
Inspired by Michel Foucault’s radio conferences of the 1966 L’utopie du corps, the piece – mounted between Natal (Brazil) and Berlin – is a clear reflection of the body. A body that is thrown into the gravitational space, a naked body that is naturally exposed but always covered by other hands, a body that is illuminated by an artificial light to show any of its muscular contraction, a body that is exposed in plastic and shiny poses to be portrayed in snapshots, a body that communicates with other bodies which support or fight among themselves. A body that always returns to its starting point, every time different, every time changed.
During the first part of the show, seven dancers of the cie. toula limnaios, with their usual energy and expressiveness, gave birth to an intense and vibrant performance.
Leonardo D’Aquino leads the group and starts the show, as always, in a magnificent way. As soon as he starts to move, it’s immediately possible to recognize his movement which catalyzes the attention of the spectators. Strong and convincing the interpretations of the three women: Katja Scholz whom always carries out charismatic characters, Karolina Wyrwal, who is featuring of a scenic presence outside the common place and Priscilla Fiuza who remains communicative and precise. Magnetizes Daeho Lee’s dance which moves with fluidity and character. Important is the contribution by Hironori Sugata and Daniel Afonso.
The second half of the show is outstanding, specially when another seven dancers, this time of the cia. gira dança, repeat the same script with as much passion and energy.
The images projected on the screen, which is the only entrance to the stage, show all the dancers together, creating a link between what happens in the scene and what you have just seen.
Breathtaking are the performances of all the members of the Brazilian company whose members (four out of seven) have a handicap.
Each of them brings to the stage an extraordinary interpretation of the same characters already seen in the first part of the show
The looks, the movements, the stories of each one of them create an atmosphere filled with pathos and emotions. Not their disabilities, but their incredible skills is what moves the spectators who applaud by recalling onto the stage at least three times all the protagonists of this unforgettable night of dance.
Once again the sensitivity of the Greek choreographer leaves the mark. Toula Limnaios, avoiding easy stereotypes and clichés, creates an emotionally touching and engaging show.
