Three Score Dance Company want to commission a new 15-20 minute work from an aged 55+ identifying female choreographer from outside the UK, suitable for theatre and outdoor or non-theatre contexts too.

About Three Score Dance:
Our mission is challenging hearts and minds and promoting health through the
art of contemporary dance. We commission work that engages,
educates, entertains and captures the imagination; delivering performances that change perceptions challenge expectations and champion the art form of contemporary dance. TSD has commissioned new works by Antonia Grove, Bettina Strickler, James Finnemore, Ben Duke, Yael Flexer, Lea Anderson and our Artistic Director (AD) Jason Keenan Smith. Our films have been shown internationally.

Context and what’s involved:
The work will be part of a mixed bill programme (Jose Agudo, Ben Duke & Jason Keenan-Smith) in touring to UK small-scale theatres 2019/20. You will need to be willing and able to travel to Brighton to create the work ideally over two weeks between March-September 2019. Key points:
• A get-to-know-you visit the meet the company
• Fee negotiable and based on level of experience
• Accommodation, return travel and subsistence
• We have a modest budget for costume, sound and rehearsal space
