BERLINO – Dal 14 al 17 dicembre 2022, presso l’Halle Tanzbühne Berlin, è in scena Staubkinder, il nuovo lavoro di Toula Limnaios.
Chi segue e conosce la coreografa greca, guardando la performance, riceverà diverse sorprese. La musica, per iniziare, non è di Ralf R. Ollertz. Il pezzo, infatti, è inspirato dalla musica di Gustav Mahler.
La drammaturgia, come il titolo i “bambini della polvere” anticipa, riguarda quella parte ancestrale di noi a cui siamo tutti connessi e che si trova a fare i conti con un mondo adulto, pieno di difficoltà e pesi da sopportare.
Rappresentazione molto cinematografica
Complice le sinfonie romantiche del grande compositore Austro-Boemo, sin dal principio si ha l’impressione di assistere a un ‘colossal’. La rappresentazione, infatti, è molto cinematografica. Davanti a un muro roccioso, i Kinder della Limnaios, aspettano che arrivi il prossimo bambino a perdere le ali e a muoversi con loro nella polvere. Dopo questa, anche grazie all’intensa l’interpretazione dei danzatori, che riescono a sostenere il loro ruolo in modo credibile e convincente, seguono tante altre scene molto suggestive.
Entrando più nello specifico nella coreografia, Staubkinder è caratterizzato da molti soli e duo che, a differenza di quanto accade solitamente nelle coreografie della Limnaios, non si svolgono contemporaneamente in una complessa rete di azioni simultanee, ma prendono il centro della scena e la completa attenzione del pubblico in un susseguirsi di quadri romantici e drammatici che danno vita a uno spettacolo toccante e poetico, che sancisce un altro successo per la cie. toula limnaios.
BERLIN – From the 14th to the 17th of December 2022, at the Halle Tanzbühne Berlin, Staubkinder, the new piece by Toula Limnaios, will be on.
Those who follow and know the Greek choreographer, attending Staubkinder, will receive several surprises. The music, to begin with, is not by Ralf R. Ollertz. The piece, in fact, is inspired by the music of Gustav Mahler.
The dramaturgy, as the title the children of the dust anticipates, concerns the ancestral part of us, to which we are all connected, that finds itself having to deal with an adult world, full of difficulties and burdens to bear.
The rapresentation is very cinematographic
From the beginning, thanks to the romantic symphonies of the great Austro-Bohemian composer, one gets the impression of watching a ‘colossal’. The representation, in fact, is very cinematographic. In front of a rocky wall, the Limnaios’ Kinder wait for the next child to come along, to lose its wings and move with them in the dust. After this, many other beautiful scenes follow also thanks to the intense interpretation of the dancers, who manage to support their role in a credible and convincing way.
Going more specifically into the choreography, Staubkinder is characterized by many solos and duos which, unlike what usually happens in Limnaios’ choreographies, do not take place at the same time in a complex network of simultaneous actions, but take center stage and the public’s complete attention.
Staubkinder is a succession of romantic and dramatic images that bring to life to a touching and poetic performance, scoring another success for the cie. toula limnaios.
