BERLINO – Come preannunciato, da giovedì 12 fino a domenica 15 settembre è stata presentata la seconda serata di doppi solo in programma presso l’Halle Tanzbühne. Dopo il successo di Susanne Linke e Urs Dietrich, ad andare in scena è stato Isson della cie. Toula Limnaios.
Il lavoro, riproposto nel 2016 nell’attuale versione di doppio solo maschile, ha visto un cambio di cast nel ruolo prima interpretato da Daeho Lee. Questa volta, accanto al sempre bravissimo Leonardo D’Aquino, si è esibito Alessio Scandale, giovane danzatore formatosi presso la SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance) ed entrato a far parte della compagnia fondata dalla famosa coreografa greca da poco più di un anno.
Il pezzo, il cui titolo significa ‘stesso’, è un interessante performance in cui i due danzatori, posti uno a destra e uno a sinistra rispetto al centro del palco, si esibiscono nel medesimo solo creando un gioco di doppi, di specchi, di proiezioni.
I protagonisti, senza mai guardarsi, si muovono all’unisono in un sincronismo perfetto reso possibile grazie ai sonori respiri che precedono i movimenti.
La danza, fatta di gesti precisi eseguiti con intensità, è ipnotica.
Particolarmente suggestiva la parte in cui le luci, che delimitano lo spazio di movimento in due quadrati bianchi, proiettano l’immagine di uno alle spalle dell’altro e viceversa per poi far sovrapporre le due ombre creando, così, l’illusione che a muoversi sul palco sia un’unica persona.
Grazie all’intesa tra i due danzatori e all’esecuzione senza sbavature, il lavoro non ha assolutamente perso forza o intensità confermandosi efficace e suggestivo a dispetto del cambio subito.
As announced, from Thursday 12th to Sunday 15th September the second evening of doubles solo was on at the Halle Tanzbühne. After the success of Susanne Linke and Urs Dietrich, Isson by cie Toula Limnaios was performed.
The work, resumed in 2016 in the current version of double solo for men, saw a change of cast in the role that was played by Daeho Lee. This time, alongside the always excellent Leonardo D’Aquino, Isson was performed by Alessio Scandale, a young dancer who trained at the SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance) and joined the company founded by the famous Greek choreographer for around a year now.
The piece, whose title means ‘same’, is an interesting performance in which two dancers, one placed on the right and one on the left with respect to the center of the stage, perform the same solo creating a game of doubles, of mirrors, of projections.
The protagonists, with out looking at each other, get to move in unison, perfectly synchronized. The sonorous breaths that precede the movements make it possible..
The dance, made of precise gestures performed with intensity, is hypnotic.
The part in which the lights, which delimit the movement space in two white squares, project the image of one dancer behind the other and vice versa and then cause the two shadows to overlap, creating the illusion of that who is moving on stage in a single person, is particularly suggestive.
Thanks to the agreement between the two dancers and to their flawless execution, the work hasn’t in the absolut lost strength or intensity, confirming itself to be effective and suggestive despite the change suffered.
