BERLINO – Dal 5 ottobre 2022, presso gli Uferstudios Berlin, ha debuttato SEHNSUCHTAnatomie eines Gefühls by Tanzcompagnie Rubato.
Sette performer sono disposti in cerchio eseguendo sempre lo stesso movimento con le braccia (una sorta di port de bra) finché tutto il pubblico non è in sala e le luci si spengono.
Quando il palco ritorna a essere illuminato inizia anche la musica. Da questo momento inizia lo spettacolo.
Tutto è alquanto didascalico. I performer sono a terra immobili, poi iniziano a muovere le braccia e sul fondale vengono proiettate immagini di polsi e mani che si muovono. Viene proiettato il mare e i performer iniziano a dondolare come onde. Il palco diventa acqua e ad uno ad uno con passi incerti poggiano i piedi per terra come se attraversassero un corso d’acqua. Alla fine di ogni ‘quadro’, i danzatori si dividono in due gruppi e si dispongono al buio, ai margini del palco. Questa la struttura del pezzo.
Anche se la rappresentazione è esplicativa, non mancano momenti interessanti e ‘immagini’ suggestive. Ogni azione, però, quando raggiunge l’acme, non ha mail il tempo di essere sviluppata ulteriormente, finendo di colpo. Evidenti i riferimenti al post pandemia (abbracci e baci) e a temi sociali.
Se SEHNSUCHT, a parte alcuni gradevoli momenti di danza, non convince fino in fondo, la trascinante musica di Alex Nickmann e Alejandra Cárdenas (aka Ale Hop) è da promuovere a pieni voti. Bravissimi i due musicisti compositori che danno ritmo e spessore alla serata mischiando suoni elettronici a musica live.
On October 5th 2022, at the Uferstudios Berlin, SEHNSUCHT Anatomie eines Gefühls by Tanzcompagnie Rubatodebuted.
Seven performers are arranged in a circle, always performing the same movement with their arms (a sort of port de bra) until the whole audience is in the hall and the lights go out.
When the stage lights come back, the music begins. From this moment the show starts.
Everything is in someway didactic. The performers are motionless on the ground, then they begin to move their arms and images of wrists and hands are projected onto the backdrop. The sea is projected and the performers begin to rock like waves. The stage becomes water and one by one with uncertain steps they place their feet on the ground as if crossing a stream. At the end of each ‘frame’, the dancers divide into two groups and arrange themselves in the dark, at the edge of the stage. This is the structure of the piece.
Even if the representation is illustrative, there is no lack of interesting moments and suggestive ‘images’. Each action, however, when it reaches its peak, does not have the time to be developed further, ending suddenly. There are clear references to the post-pandemic (hugs and kisses) and to social issues.
If SEHNSUCHT, despite some enjoyable dance moment due to the talented dancers, does not fully convince, the enthralling music of Alex Nickmann and Alejandra Cárdenas (aka Ale Hop) is outstanding. The two musicians and composers are very good, giving rhythm and depth to the evening mixing electronic sounds with their live performance.
