Oltre alle visite virtuali di numerosi musei, film visibili in streaming, concerti live e attori che recitano monologhi in diretta dalla loro pagina Facebook, sono molte le occasioni per seguire anche la danza. Il web offre dalla possibilità di partecipare alle lezioni delle più prestigiose compagnie del mondo all’opportunità di seguire spettacoli di repertorio o improvvisazioni trasmesse in diretta.
È con questo spirito che Eric Gauthier ha realizzato un suo canale YouTube, per ballare insieme ai video. Sotto l’hashtag #Wohnzimmerballett (balletto da soggiorno), il direttore della Gauthier Dance vuole diffondere vibrazioni positive e far muovere le persone costrette a casa. Lo scorso fine settimana, sono state diffuse le prime clip: un warm-up, la sua famosa “Ape Dance” e un’intervista.
