Balletmaster – Norwegian National Ballets

 Substitute position from 01.08.2015 -30.06.2016

The following tasks are assigned to the position

Contribute to realizing the goals set by the Balletmaster and responsible for taking care of the dance related side of NNB’s repertoar.

Be a part of the Norwegian National Ballets leaderhip team, and contribute with dance related advice to the Ballet Director.

Personell resonsibilities for a group of around 15 dancers.

Prepare and lead the daily ballet training.

Be present at the Norwegian National Ballets performances.

Assist guesting choreographers and stagers.

The applicant we are looking for has

A strong artistic background, to be able to contribute to the development of the Norwegian National Ballets dancers.

A solid experience of classical ballet as well as modern choreographies.

The ability to teach company class and experience from staging ballets.

Ability to work in a team.

Ability to cooperate with others.

Good English language skills.
