The Cirque du Soleil Casting team is seeking new talent for its current shows and upcoming creations.
We will be holding auditions in the United States in April 2016 for all dance styles in the following cities:
1- Tuscon, Arizona on April 3rd, 2016;
2- Winston-Salem, North Carolina on April 3rd, 2016;
3- Orange, California on April 10th, 2016;
4- Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on April 10th, 2016.
Qualifications:
– Candidates must be at least 18 years old at the time of the auditions.
Interested dancers must apply online and submit:
1- Their CV/resumé;
2- Two photos maximum (one headshot and one full-body shot);
3- A video demo of their performance. For more information on what to include in the video demo please click here.
Submission deadline: March 20, 2016.
Important information:
– During the application you will be asked to choose the city in which you wish to audition;
– ONLY complete applications (resume/CV, photos and video demo) will be evaluated by a Talent Scout from the Casting team;
– Only selected candidates will receive an email invitation with the audition information.
Please note that:
– Cirque du Soleil will not pay for any expenses incurred by candidates attending the auditions;
– These are general auditions for all roles in our current shows and upcoming creations.
Candidates who successfully pass the auditions will become part of our database of potential artists for future casting calls – we do not offer contracts at the auditions.
General terms and conditions of applying online:
1- The profile information of candidates will be used byCirque du Soleiland its partners;
2- The material submitted by candidates will not be returned;
3- The material of candidates who are not selected may be destroyed by the Casting team;
4- By applying online, candidates who submit their material via links to demo videos agree that Casting will extract material from these links if necessary to add it to the candidate’s profile;
5- Applications may be considered for one or more roles in all our current shows and upcoming creations.
