BERLINO – Dopo la grande attesa, lo scorso fine settimana ha debuttato Exodos, ultima produzione della Sasha Waltz & Guests.
Se il titolo suggerisce immediatamente scottanti temi di attualità, lo spettacolo riserva molte sorprese.
La prima consiste nella location. Non c’è palco né platea, gli spettatori entrano direttamente in scena. Muovendosi all’interno delle ampie sale del Radialsystem, un po’ come in un museo, si può scegliere di assistere a una performance o di partecipare attivamente a una delle tante azioni ‘coreografiche’ che si svolgono simultaneamente.
Molte le idee e differenti i significati di esodo. Ci sono coloro che fuggono da sé stessi, chi cerca una via d’uscita nei corridoi di luce che si spalancano da una remota porta nera; chi è compresso in spazi – mentali, geografici, sociali o politici – molto angusti, dai quali tenta di liberarsi; chi viene trascinato da un punto a un altro senza reagire o chi, più semplicemente, esce per andare a ballare, come evasione dal quotidiano.
Molto belle le immagini, i colori e i movimenti di questo spettacolo fluttuane nel quale ci si può immergere diventandone parte o che si può osservare a un passo di distanza, senza evitare, anche in questo caso, di esserne coinvolti pienamente.

If the title immediately suggests controversial issues of our society, the show holds many surprises.
The first is the location itself. There is no stage or parterre, spectators enter directly on stage. Moving within the large rooms of the Radialsystem, a bit like in a museum, you can choose to simply observe the performance or actively participate in one of the many “choreographic” actions which happen simultaneously.
Many the ideas and different the meanings of Exodos. There are those who flee from themselves, those looking for a way out in the corridors of light that open wide from a remote black door; those who are compressed in very narrow – mental, geographical, social or political – spaces, from which they try to free themselves; there is who is dragged from one point to another without reacting and who, more simply, goes out partying, as an escape from everyday life.
Very beautiful the images, the colors and the movements of this floating show in which you can either immerse yourself and become part of it or simply observe from a distance but stil feeling fully involved.
