Brandon Ballet in Southwest Florida is seeking an Artistic Director to lead the Company for the upcoming 2017-2018 Season to grow and lead the organization to the next level in serving the local community and dancers. The AD is responsible for guiding strategic planning, implementation and executing exciting artistic programs. The company will start its 24th season in August 2017; we do 3 to 4 major performances a year and some smaller performances in surrounding areas.

Company class is held Tuesday-Friday 12:00-1:30 pm with the Professionals and Pre-Professionals. Class is followed by rehearsals until 3 or 4. Friday and Saturday rehearsals are needed to work with our Training dancers.

We are looking for someone to choreograph full length ballets along with excellent teaching skills.
Pay is commensurate with experience

Qualifications/Expected Duties
Must work well with Professional Dancers (18+), Pre-Professional and Training Dancers (9-18)
Private lessons will be available along with teaching at the school a few hours a week.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone with good choreography and production skills along with good teaching skills and a passion to help dancers improve and grow.
