Audition – Contemporary Dance Theatre AURA

AUDITION
Professional Contemporary Dance Theatre AURA is looking for a professional male dancer. The audition will take place on April 16th in AURA Dance Theatre.

Requirements:
–       Height of 178 cm and taller;
–       Strong techniques of modern and contemporary dance;
–       Very good improvisational skills and expression;
–       Creativity;
–       High motivation for work and improvement;
–       Availability to start working in the end of April and stay for 1 year period (until June 2016).

We offer:
–       Official work in the only municipal dance theatre in Lithuania according the contract of Lithuanian (EU) standards and salary of 450-500 EUR.  Please note that all costs in Lithuania are 3 times lower than in many other European countries.
–       Performances in Lithuania and abroad, work with guest choreographers, interdisciplinary projects with various artists, participation in international festivals, etc.
–       AURA Dance Theatre partly covers the accommodation.

AURA dance theatre is forming a new troupe at the moment. The new selected dancers will join the production of new piece by French choreographer Samuel Mathieu on April 20th, 2015.  For the upcoming theatre season (July 2015-June 2016) we have already planned more productions with guest choreographers, tournees to abroad festivals, a lot of local projects, International dance festival AURA.  If you match the requirements and want to be a part of it, contact us! Dancer must have a permit to work in Eauropean Union.
