‘theMiddletonCorpus’ is seeking 2 dancers (1 male and 1 female), trained in contemporary dance and with some experience in partnering / acrobatics for a 3 week Research and Development project, during February 2016.
‘theMiddletonCorpus’ is a Leeds based dance company set up by Choreographer/Artistic Director Anthony Middleton and Associate Director Isabel Slingerland, in 2012. The basis of Anthony’s work is exploring the integration of acrobatics and dance, creating high quality works that are suitable for a variety of performance spaces, indoors and outdoors.
Audition is by invitation only and will be held in Leeds, West Yorkshire (studio TBC)
Audition date: Sunday the 24th of January, 2016 (9:30am – 3:00pm)
The project begins on the 1st of February, running for 3 weeks, ending on 19th of February. The focus of the project is the continuation of Anthony’s research into the integration of acrobatics and movement. It is intended that the research period will result in a future NEW CREATION, later in 2016, as such Anthony is keen to work with performers who have a strong interest in the work of the company and may be interested in future commitment. Dancers will need to be available for the whole working period and must preferably live in/or in close proximity to Leeds, or be able to find their own accommodation for the working period.
Fee: Dancers will receive £450 per week throughout the project.

Please send an email with a short statement of interest, along with a CV, headshot and preferably video footage of any previous work or dance material, to: anthony@
Deadline for applications: 19th January 2016.
